Martin D. Magida, CFA

Prior to founding Sandhurst, Marty served as a Director in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Investment Banking Group at Investec, Inc. after having been an Executive Director at UBS Warburg LLC, responsible for that firm’s Enterprise Hardware practice and East Coast semiconductor effort. He joined UBS Warburg in 2000 from Paine Webber’s Investment Banking Division, where he was a Director in the Technology Group. From 1996 until January 1999, he was a Vice President at C.E. Unterberg, Towbin, an investment banking boutique specializing in technology and business services. Previously, Marty was a Vice President of Investment Banking at Josephthal & Company and a Senior Corporate Finance Analyst at BDO Seidman. He began his career in the securities industry at Drexel Burnham Lambert in 1983 and has served on the board of Misonix, Inc., a publicly traded medical device company.

Marty was a co-founder of the Sandhurst Collateralized Return Fund, renamed Crestview Capital Advisors, general partner to a hedge fund specializing in collateralized debt instruments.

Marty holds a BA in Political Science from Union College and an MBA from New York University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

James Hyman, Advisor

My. Hyman is Chief Executive Officer of the Cornell Companies, Inc. (NYSE: CRN), a leading private provider of corrections, treatment and educational services outsourced by federal, state and local governmental agencies.

Mr. Hyman has been affiliated with Sandhurst Capital since its inception, and until he joined Cornell was a Partner with the company.

Mr. Hyman has also been a Senior Managing Director at FTI Palladium Partners, an interim management firm (NYSE: FCN), an Executive Vice President at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide (NYSE: HOT), President of a General Electric subsidiary in Europe (NYSE: GE) and leader of corporate development for Sequa Corporation (NYSE: SQAA).

Mr. Hyman also spent seven years with McKinsey & Company in New York and Chicago, and started his career at JPMorgan, where he was an Assistant Treasurer in New York and London..

Mr. Hyman received an MBA with Distinction from the Harvard Business School and a BA with honors in Philosophy from the University of Chicago.

Eric S. Kamisher, Esq., Advisor

Eric is Managing Partner of Crestview Capital Advisors, general partner to a hedge fund specializing collateralized debt instruments.  Eric began his career as a corporate/securities lawyer in New York City. He developed expertise in capital market transactions, as well as debt and equity financings, venture capital, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, investment management and joint ventures. His clients included start-up, early stage, emerging growth and high-growth public and private companies, secured lenders, venture capital funds, asset management firms, investment banks, as well as corporate and strategic investors. In 1997, Eric commenced work as a principal in the investment management industry as a Partner of Aurum Capital LLC, a venture capital firm focused on technology and healthcare investments. Aurum made 14 direct investments between 1997 and 2000. From 1999 to 2002, Eric served as CEO of an Aurum portfolio company, Textera, Inc., that provided supply chain software to the global textile industry. Under his leadership, the company partnered with IBM and other worldwide leaders in technology and supplied solutions to industrial giants such as DuPont, Honeywell, KoSa and Ciba Specialty Chemicals. Mr. Kamisher has retained his license as a member of the New York State Bar and serves as Counsel to the New York firm of Feldman Weinstein, one of the leading law firms involved in the Regulation D/PIPE market.

Eric received his BA from Hobart College, where he was elected Phi Beta Kappa. He was a Lehman Graduate Fellow at Columbia University's School of International Affairs and received his JD from the University of Denver, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Denver Law Journal.
